Interesting things to make in your Omelette Maker or Pan

Several weeks ago I bought an Omelette Maker from Amazon. Yes, I know, I am a bit of a kitchen gadget geek but I couldn’t resist it and it looked fun! It looks a bit like a round sandwich toaster with 2 wells for the omelettes to cook in instead of plates and I’ve cooked loads of great recipes in it already.

Eggs are the ultimate healthy fast food and are also perfect if you are on a diet, especially when teamed up with lean meat or vegetables. The Coriander Chicken and Pepper flavour is very tasty and is free on the Weight Watcher No Count diet. You can also substitute cottage cheese for cheddar in the recipes if you prefer to make them  lower in fat but just cook slightly longer.

Hubby has since enjoyed all the lovely things I’ve been cooking in my new gadget so it’s definitely been a hit in our house and the best bit is that these recipes take just minutes to prepare with minimal washing up afterwards!

If you don’t have an omelette maker then don’t worry as you can make all of these recipes in a regular non stick omelette pan.

I recommend that you get your Omelette Maker or pan hot before you start to cook. The timings are based on the Neo model I bought, so adjust the cooking times to suit whichever brand you have or for your own specific pan on the hob. If you use a pan, make sure it is a good quality non stick one, then you won’t need to add any extra oil, keeping the recipe healthy.

  1. I ordered an omelette maker yesterday. It will arrive tomorrow and I’m already looking for quick and easy recipes. Thanks for taking the time to write them all down and even taking photographs. I’m sure I will try quite a few of them.
